The Intoxicating Zine Fest was the first zine fest I’d ever attempted to put on. This zine fest is open to the public and admission is free, even the tables for the exhibitors are free... I tried to do something different: exhibitor’s portfolios would not be reviewed, it was on a first come/first reserved basis, and I charged no fee for tables. Zines, books, comics, poetry, hand-crafted ART by a dozen local zinesters at Sanger Hall in Sunnyside Queens.
