On Thursday September 14th 2007 at 2:00pm I signed a contract agreeing to sterilization and underwent a vasectomy. I was 32 and had no children. I did very little research beforehand; I just wanted to get it over with. In hindsight I think it was an unconscious decision to make sure I didn’t have time to chicken out. I knew I wanted it, so I had it done quickly so I could get on to other issues in my life. This is the story of the procedure and includes a follow-up interview conducted by Julie Liew.
