Reflections, Volume 9 - 1987, Featured Essay: What Would I Do as President of the United States, (The example shown is theirs, not mine.)

I put this up as a kind of joke, although this was actually very influential to me. When I was in the 6th grade I had a writing assignment and it was selected for publication in this magazine, which publishes selected elementary school writers throughout California. If it hadn’t happened I don’t think I would have taken the path I did, I was too busy reading to have thought about doing something of my own. So no matter how cheesy it is to put it up on my website, I’m proud of my 6th grade self.
